Late Mr. Sadashiv alias Anna Ganpat Zende, Ex. President: ZP, Pune, born in 1932 to a Maharashtrian family in Dive, Tal. Purandar, District Pune, Maharashtra. Being fond of education he managed to cleared Std. X at that time. Thereby he served Maharashtra Police Department. His inclination towards politics made him enter politics along with Hon. Sharad Pawar. Finally, in 1972 he was elected as an active member of Zilla Parishad. He did this again in the year 1979. In 1986, he was elected as the President of Pune Zilla Parishad. He continued as the President for successive three years. During this period, he devoted his work towards the common man and farmers. He didn’t restrict him selves to politics but also started social activities. All the time, he used to be with the common man making place in their heart. The great personality took his last breath on 1st September 2014.
The institute has tried to make all the courses available at minimum fees so that maximum number of poor and promising students can do the course. 1 lakh for these courses are taken in urban areas.A paramedical college was established so that maximum number of students from rural farming families can learn and stand on their own feet.All the students from the previous batch have passed and are working in Pune Municipal Corporation, Health Department and various hospitals in the district.
